Durga Puja
This is the most famous religious festival of India. Not only pious Indians celebrate it, but people from all classes and all religions participate in the enjoyment. The streets are all flooded in the colours of light and beautiful pandals peek from here and there. The enthralling beats of dholak, fills the soul with esctacy and joy. People from all over the state come over to Calcutta to visit the different puja sites, which are awesome pieces of art by master craftsmen.
